These new guidelines are effective from the return to school after mid-term break-Monday 28th of February.

New COVID 19 Guidance for Schools from Monday 28th February
The Irish government have implemented the following guidance for schools. We will take time to readjust to these. Please take time to read and be familiar with some new changes
Covid-19 - New guidance effective Monday 28th Feb. 2022
  • Schools are to resume normal routines and functions from Monday 28th February
  • Physical distancing is no longer required and all other such arrangements are to cease
  • Tables can and should be joined together for pair work, group work and any methodology to enhance teaching and learning
  • PE changing rooms can be used from Monday 28th. This means that students can change into PE gear and no longer have to wear it for the full day.
  • Lockers will be available to all students
  • Staffroom areas can operate without restrictions
  • It is no longer a requirement for staff or students to wear a mask in school. Staff and students can continue to wear a mask if they wish to do so.
  • We will continue to make PPE available to all our school community, including FFP2 masks.
  • Our enhanced cleaning schedule will be maintained
  • We will continue to have hand sanitiser and dispensers across campus
  • You must stay at home if you have Coivd-19 symptoms
  • Parent Teacher meetings are to resume in person, in school
