St. Laurence College is the only Marianist school in Ireland. Our unique school is under the trusteeship of the Le Chéile trust. The Marianists came to Ireland in 1967 from the United States. The School’s mission statement states that we strive to meet the needs of the whole school community so that the growth and development of each individual is realized. Further, we seek this through the creation of a Marianist family atmosphere in which parents & guardians, staff & students work for the spiritual, intellectual, moral, physical and emotional growth of all.
The school boasts a talented and dedicated staff who recognise that education not only involves academic achievement, but rather it should encompass a holistic development of students. We want students to recognise their talents and to grow with a real sense of self-worth. We pride ourselves on the pastoral care provided to students. Our goal is to make school a positive experience in which students enjoy the community spirit which is central to our ethos.
