Parents Association
The school community consists of Students, Staff, Parents and Board of Management. The Parents Association is the structure through which parents in our school can work together for the best possible education for their children.
The Parents Association works with the Principal, Staff and Board of Management to build an effective partnership of home and school. It gives the parents a means of sharing their views on the education of their children with the school and works to share the schools views on educational issues with the parents. Membership of the Parents Council is open to all parents/guardians of students in the school.
Some of the activities of the Parents Council are:
· Attendance at 5/6 meetings per year or as issues arise
· Consultation and discussion with Principal on relevant school policies
· Organising speakers for parents' meetings
· Fundraising activities
· Assistance with school activities
· Other duties as necessary
If you would like to volunteer or would like to contact any of the parents nominees, you can do so through the school office (01) 2826930 or through Mr. Sean O'Neill , Home School Community Liaison Coordinator (Teacher): 086 389 5966.
