Home School Liaision Scheme

St. Laurence College has a full time Home School Community Liaison Coordinator, whose role is to promote active cooperation between home, school and relevant community agencies with the aim of furthering students’ educational interests. The scheme encourages parents to be aware of their own capacities to enhance their children’s educational progress, and to assist them to develop relevant skills. It is also a preventative strategy designed to help students at risk of not reaching their potential in the educational system due to factors which may affect the student’s achievement and continuation in school.

Our new school app is regularly updated with news and information for parents. In the weeks ahead notifications from the app will alert all parents and guardians about remote teaching and learning and school closure.
This new website aims to empower young people, and those that work with them, to identify what service can meet their specific mental health need in the local area.
