Dear Parent / Guardian,
I hope this finds you well and that you and your son / daughter have had an enjoyable MidTerm break. Our Autism Support Classroom re-opened successfully on Monday 22nd. We are delighted to have some of our students back safely. Our 6 th years (only) will return on March 1 st. Other year groups will return on a staggered basis which is scheduled over the next few weeks beginning with 5th years from March 15th and all other students after Easter holidays. (subject to the changing advice of NPHET/Government). For now all students are encouraged to continue engaging in remote learning.
Our Student Support team and Special Educational Needs team meets on an ongoing basis and we are doing all we can to support you and your families at this time. If there are any students who require a digital device we have some that are available for delivery pending the signing of a loan agreement. If there is anything we can do please get in touch with our Home School Liaison Officer Ms Angela Joyce.
We are asking each of you to continue to encourage your son/daughter to keep engaged with remote learning and submitting work for correction and feedback. It is not easy on students, we are aware but just a few more weeks should see us all back in school (fingers crossed)
Our school meals programme will continue to operate and we are on schedule to deliver more parcels in the coming weeks to you. Thank you to those who have gotten in touch with us to show appreciation. You are most welcome!
Over the coming weeks I will write to you once more to keep you informed. Best wishes to each of you.
Yours sincerely
Shane FitzGerald
Principal
