Sister Sue
Did you know Bro. Fred had a sister? Meet Sister Sue Rech.
Sue works in Tanzania with the Maasai People.
Sue usually visits the school when she is travelling back to the States and with Covid we have missed connecting with her and hearing about her work recently.
Sue's visits are always colorful and fun when she describes the very different lives of the indigenous people she works with.
Students from 1A and 1B enjoyed dressing up in traditional Maasai clothing and hearing about how many of the women that Sue works with have become independent in the crafts and tourism industries in Tanzania.
It's always great when you are whisked off in your learning and imagination in a class to another place where people and lives are different.
A Big Thank you to Sue for her passion and storytelling and the fun we had with you.
