All classes took part in Climate Action week, to raise awareness of how serious Climate change is to all of us. This tied in with the COP26 Climate Action conference taking place in Glasgow from 1-12th November.
Each student took part in activities informing them of Climate Change and Climate Action.
We completed many posters and a Hands Up for Climate Action activity - drawing handprints and marking in The Causes and Effects of climate change. We all Stood Up for Climate Action by drawing our footprints and marking in what the Governments and our families and ourselves can do to reduce our carbon footprints.
A Climate action quiz was completed at the end of the week and won by Ms. O' Doherty's Third Year Spanish Class. Congrats to everyone!
Many thanks to Ms Mulholland. Ms N Murray, Mr Lipsett and Ms Gallagher for their help in running this activity.
