‘Share the Love’ Collaborative Project…IS BACK for 2021
This is your chance to be involved in a work of art that shows us that while at the moment we are all apart from each other, in our hearts we are all still together. Our school took part in this initiative last year, even if you took part in it the first time we would like to ask you to take part now.
As you all know it is Valentine's day this Sunday so we have even more of a reason to 'Share the Love'!
All you have to do is make a heart in any materials you like and send in a picture of it. We will then add them into the collage of hearts that everyone sent in when we first did the project. We have attached images of the original collage below. The first image is our collage. Many schools around the country took part in this project and the second image is the collage in progress with all of the other school's hearts included.
It is hoped that the finished piece will be displayed in some way once all the hearts have been put together!
Some ideas on how to make your heart-
-You can draw or paint a heart and take a picture of it.
-You could make your heart in a different way-
-You might have a piece of clothing/duvet cover with a heart pattern, or a heart shaped ornament-you can take a picture of it
-You might have some play-dough or clay at home-You could make a heart out of this and take a picture of it.
-You could make a heart shape out of your hand, and get someone else to take a picture of it.
-Or you may have a different idea of how to make a heart.
The choice is yours! Bright or Contrasting colours work well.
Your heart will become part of the overall finished piece, so make sure you are happy with your heart before you send it.
The heart you take a picture of should be 15cm squared, if possible.
Take a photo an attach it to an email.
Please do not use Camscanner as we need the photo or a jpeg of the artwork.
We cannot wait to see all your hearts!
The larger art display will feature hearts from many schools across the country.
