Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are looking forward with excitement for Leaving Certificate results day on Friday 3rd September next. Leaving certificate results will be issued via an online portal at 10am. The State Examinations Commission have contacted students in relation to this. However, in St Laurence College we will also receive your results at 10am.
The Department of Education and the State Examinations are requesting schools to make particular supports available for Leaving Certificate students 2020-2021. In order to support last years’ students, assist with any queries they have and take them through the options that are available on the next step on their journey, I am requesting that all 1st , 2nd and TY students to remain at home for the full day (03-09-2021). All of these students will be learning remotely through our Google Classroom for each class on their timetable. 3rd, 5th and 6th year students will have class as normal.
This ensures that we have staff available to speak with students throughout the morning/afternoon. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to invite any Parents/Guardians to this.
