SEAL TEAM 6 Contact Mr. Doran after Lazer Tag in Carlingford Adventure Centre

Rumours are abounding that Mr. Doran was contacted by SEAL TEAM 6 after the Transition Year trip to Carlingford Adventure Centre.

After an early start from school yesterday Lazer Tag was our first activity in the dense forests of Carlingford Lough. The Blue Team (Mr. Doran) were pitched in close combat against the Red Team (Ms. Smith) before we played a Most Valuable Person scenario. We finished on the hill for the morning with Last Man Standing. Frenemy alliances were agreed as students joined forces to track down the most ruthless sniper on the hill-Mr. Doran. There were accusations among the group that Mr. Doran's head set was not working properly. However, the instructors were overhearding saying that Olek and Darragh just had a bad aim. This high energy game was discussed and dissected as we made our way back down to the centre for lunch. Fun was had by all!

The weather just got better all the way up north yesterday morning and with the sun warming the lough the group took to the water for the afternoon activity. The photos are a visual essay of the afternoon spent floating and splashing as the sun eventually fell over the Mourne Mountains.

After some much need spagetti bolognese we followed the winding trails back up to the forest as the darkness descended on us for the night activity. The group worked together to find their way through an obstacle course blind folded. And it was literally the blind leading the blind!

We had another early start this morning and we followed the dew to the Sky Park for some Football Golf before we packed up the bus for home.

A big thank you to all the staff and instructors in Carlingford Adventure Centre for an action packed programme and for taking care of us.

The group would like to thank Ms. Smith and Mr. Doran for travelling with them to Carlingford and to Ms. Kearns for organising the adventure.
